Parkville definitely got a little sweeter when Albert, Nadine and their sweet pup, Cooper moved to town. Originally from Southern California (Albert from San Diego and Nadine from Los Angeles), Albert moved to Kansas City in August 2019 for his job. He is a radiologist with Radiology Specialists of St. Joseph. The practice serves Mosaic Medical Centers in St. Joseph, Maryville and Atchison, Kansas. Nadine joined Albert in Kansas City in March 2020. Covid derailed their big California wedding plans, so they decided on a small family wedding and decided to start their lives together in Parkville. Nadine is still looking for the perfect job opportunity here in Kansas City, but stays busy being a dog mom to Cooper and volunteering with local businesses.

Albert and Nadine started their home search including surrounding towns and neighborhoods that had easy access to St. Joe, but quickly realized Parkville is where they wanted to plant their roots. Parkville offers them the community they were looking for, easy access to the city, highway and airport and doesn’t hurt that you don’t have to pay Kansas City’s e-tax.

After a fun and lengthy home search, they found the perfect home in the Hills of Monticello. The people in their neighborhood have welcomed them with open arms. They have truly made a community of friends in Parkville already and have become contributing and active members of our town.
