This edition of Meet Your Neighbors will highlight the Nickeson Family. I was lucky enough to meet Eric and Alyse and had the pleasure of helping them find their first home. Both Eric and Alyse are from Omaha, Nebraska. Both of their jobs brought them to the Kansas City area about five years ago. Prior to Kansas City, they spent some time living in Portland, Oregon for Eric’s job.

Eric is a Project Manager for JE Dunn Construction www.jedunn.com and works on many cool projects around Kansas City. One of his recent projects was the new, amazing Crossroads Hotel in Kansas City. In his free time, you can find Eric hunting, fishing and spending time at the archery range.

Alyse is a Senior Recruiting Partner at Cerner Corporation. Alyse is passionate about staying healthy and physically active. She is a Parkville Orange Theory addict and has run three marathons.

After a search for their perfect first home, Eric and Alyse decided on a beautiful Jay Jackson home in Thousand Oaks. They love that Thousand Oaks has tons of trees-something that was important to them in their home search because of their love of nature.  They are happy to have settled in Parkville and say that Parkville is the perfect place to live- “It has that small town feel while being close to Downtown Kansas City and the airport”. They love downtown Parkville and Stone Canyon Pizza is one of their go to places.

Parkville is lucky to have Eric and Alyse as additions to our community. Make sure to say hello when you see them out and about.
